Beazley’s gross written premium (GWP) increased by 13% to $2.89bn in the first half of 2023, largely bolstered by strong growth in its property business.

The carrier also increased its net written premiums (NWP) by 28% to $2.29bn, up from $1.75bn in the same period last year.
