Chubb is putting greater emphasis on property insurance than cat business as it sees more “favourable” risk-adjusted returns in the former, according to chairman and CEO Evan Greenberg.

Speaking on the company’s Q2 results call today, Greenberg addressed a question around why the company is not growing its exposures in property cat as much as analysts had expected, despite hard market conditions.
