Conduit Re has reported an 83.1% combined ratio for H1, a 22.7-point improvement on the prior-year period, as it expanded premium by 52.9% into the hard market.

Overall, the Bermudian carrier delivered a comprehensive result of $78.6mn for the first six months of the year, compared with a loss of $39.4mn
