The March banking crisis in the US sparked by the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank had a “negligible” impact on rating conditions on the financial institutions class of business, according to a report from Gallagher.

The broker said softening continued across sub-segments of the market driven by competition and capacity, despite some headwinds from macroeconomic conditions.
