Aviva has revived its interest in acquiring Lloyd’s carrier Probitas after serious talks last year ended without a deal, this publication can reveal.

Sources told Insurance Insider UK general insurance giant Aviva had responded positively after roughly $300mn-premium Probitas indicated earlier this summer it would again explore a sale.
