HDI Global SE Singapore has hired Markel’s James Guardino to launch a political risk and credit operation in Asia.

At Markel, Guardino was a trade credit and political risk underwriter for just over a year.

He previously worked in broking, first in facultative reinsurance with Aon in Singapore, and then for Texel Group.
