Steve Hearn has been announced as the new chair of Placing Platform Limited (PPL), succeeding Bronek Masojada when he steps down at the end of July.

The appointment comes in the wake of the news last week that long-serving executive Hearn is set to leave Ardonagh, where he was CEO of reinsurance and capital, including the group’s dedicated reinsurance broker Inver Re.
