Underwriting Room commences ground floor summer closure for revamp

The ground floor as well as galleries one and two of Lloyd’s Underwriting Room will close from today until early September for the first major refurbishment of the space in 38 years.

Lloyd’s is planning to increase the number of managing agents with ground-floor box space from 31 to 44, as well as to upgrade IT systems and make the ground floor a more attractive and comfortable workplace.
