Reinsurers may be privately following in Munich Re's footsteps on cyber war wordings, as 1 July approaches, but none have made the public, strategic move to align themselves with this stance as yet, this publication understands.

Munich Re is unsurprisingly standing firm on its cyber war wordings during the first renewal season since the reinsurer expressed concern over recent examples of narrower cyber war exclusions in use in the market.
