AM Best has recognised Accredited as an independent ratings unit, maintaining its “under review with negative implications” status for the financial strength rating of A- and the long-term issuer credit ratings of a-.

AM Best noted Accredited's "very strong" balance sheet and "adequate" operating performance, limited business profile and appropriate enterprise risk management.
