Insurers have lost a UK Covid-19 BI test case involving the London International Exhibition Centre Plc (ExCeL), in a decision that could open the door to further BI claims payouts across the industry.

An extension of the UK BI test case in 2021, the ExCeL lawsuit was brought to solve the question of whether The Supreme Court’s ruling in 2021 on concurrent causation, could also apply to ExCeL’s “at the premises” (ATP)...
