Covea Insurance, the UK arm of French mutual Covea, has appointed Georges de Macedo as CEO while incumbent Adrian Furness is to leave the business.

Furness has worked for the group since 1995. De Macedo joined Covea last year. He has worked in senior roles in the insurance industry for 15 years, including stints at Scor and Mazars.
