Participants in the D&O market have been clinging to the hope that the middle of 2023 will herald a tapering of rate decreases, a year after pricing began its rapid downward descent.

A canvass of brokers and underwriters in London by Insurance Insider has, however, uncovered little evidence that these conditions are emerging.
