The value of revenues earned worldwide by MGAs, MGUs and coverholder groups, such as delegated underwriting authority or underwriting agency groups, was $17.3bn in 2022, an increase of 19%, according to analysis from Insuramore.

The growth of MGAs, MGUs and coverholders is far ahead of the growth rate of the world’s insurance broking sector, which Insuramore estimates grew by almost 10.5%
