Darag owners Aleph and Crestview Partners are in the early stages of pursuing a paper merger deal for the firm with a larger legacy carrier, sources have told this publication.

It is understood that Nomura has been appointed to advise on the process, which is in the very early stages and has no formal timeline as yet.
