Everest has sold its stake in the facultative MGA Brickell Underwriting Agency (BUA) to individual investors, this publication can reveal.

Sources said the (re)insurer held an equity interest of approximately 20% in the fast-growing Miami-based MGA.

The move comes as both Everest and BUA have gone through various changes in recent months.
