Marsh Echo cyber facility secures narrower war exclusion wording

Cyber placements using Marsh’s $100mn Echo excess facility will now feature an alternative agreed wording to the standard Lloyd's Market Association (LMA) war exclusions, in a version that will provide slightly more flexibility to insureds, this publication understands.

Brit and Axis, lead carriers on the facility, have received confirmation from the LMA that it views the Echo endorsement as compliant with Lloyd’s requirements for carriers to exclude state-sponsored cyberattacks.
