Conduit Re GWP hits $278mn as property GWP nearly doubles

Conduit Re has reported Q1 gross written premiums (GWP) of $278mn, up 59.1% on the same quarter last year, buoyed by a 90.2% increase in property GWP.

As a result, the carrier predicts it is still on track to hit a mid-80s combined ratio by the end of the year.
