Blenheim 5886 drops property treaty after remediation attempt

White Bear-backed Lloyd’s managing agent Blenheim is to cease writing property treaty via Syndicate 5886 from 1 June after an extensive attempt to remediate the portfolio, this publication understands.

In 2022, the syndicate wrote £386.2mn in gross written premium overall, of which £116mn was property treaty.
