Validus Re does not anticipate deploying additional limits beyond its current aggregate allocated to Florida at 1 June as it looks to take a “prudent approach” to deployed limits, according to Peter Zaffino.

The AIG chairman and CEO said that the company anticipates significant rate increases at 1 June and improved terms and conditions, but is not looking to deploy additional limits.
