A holistic approach to risk transfer, product development and analytics for sustainable energy clients – coupled with substantial investment and capacity commitments – is aimed at making Munich Re Specialty Group a “green beacon” in the London market, according to CUO Dominick Hoare.

The underwriting executive said that Munich Re had “very ambitious targets” for its new Green Solutions portfolio, and that the business would not simply offer “recycled oil and gas capacity”.
