The UK Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) has set out plans to publish an annual report to demonstrate how it has advanced its statutory duty to facilitate the UK economy’s international competitiveness and growth.

In the regulator’s business plan for 2023/24 published today, the PRA outlined more general plans to embed its new secondary objective, which mandates it to advance the economy’s competitiveness over the medium to long term.
