Ecclesiastical Insurance has appointed Aviva’s Marc Lewis as underwriting director for the UK, as the insurer looks to double the size of its business over the next few years.

Lewis replaces Tony Hutchins, who is retiring after having led the underwriting team at Ecclesiastical for the past decade.
