Two special resolutions concerning pre-emptive voting rights failed to gain a 75% majority of votes at Beazley’s latest annual general meeting (AGM).

The first resolution, which would authorise the disapplication of pre-emption rights generally, gained 60.76%, while the second, which was to allow the disapplication of pre-emption rights for an acquisition or specified capital investment, received 60.85%.
