Italian insurer Generali has reportedly placed non-life business Tua Assicurazioni that formed part of its Cattolica acquisition up for sale in a bid to streamline its operations.

The carrier retained advisers to run the sale process of the unit, which is valued at over $330mn, according to Bloomberg News.
