Apollo is progressing talks with Artificial Labs to establish a machine-learning-driven augmented underwriting partnership within the insurer’s Syndicate 1969 unit, this publication understands.

The partnership will combine Apollo’s underwriting expertise with Artificial Labs’ algorithmic underwriting technology to explore how ‘smart follow’ capabilities can be deployed across several classes of business at Lloyd’s.
