Aviva, ABI and Zurich quit CBI amid sexual misconduct allegations

Aviva, Zurich and the Association of British Insurers (ABI) have cancelled their membership of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) following a string of sexual misconduct allegations at the trade body.

Aviva quit earlier in the day, with Zurich and ABI following suit, according to reports.

The CBI is in turmoil following numerous serious allegations levelled against it, including two women claiming they were raped while working at the company.
