Aviva has committed to ongoing membership of the Net-Zero Insurance Alliance (NZIA), in the wake of departures by major carriers from the group, stating that achieving net zero “is something companies cannot do in isolation”.

After withdrawals by Munich Re, Zurich and Hannover Re, Aviva issued a statement to clarify its position on the NZIA.
