Generali has called on shareholders to present female nominations for its board of statutory auditors, as the proposed composition of the board fails to comply with Italian law.

The Italian insurer has extended the deadline for the presentation of nominees to 19 April, with the current list risking returning an auditing board that contravenes Italian law, once list voting is applied.
