Aviation market facing loss in excess of $125mn for planes damaged in Sudan

Three planes worth around $126mn have been destroyed, resulting in a total loss, amidst fighting between Sudan's army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitary group at Khartoum Airport today, Insurance Insider understands.

The most valuable plane was an Airbus A330-300 from Saudia Airlines, with a value of around $103mn. The Saudia account is brokered by Marsh.
