Lloyd’s offers bespoke insurance coverage for NHS: report

Lloyd’s chairman Bruce Carnegie-Brown has mooted the possibility of a bespoke insurance contract for the UK government to help the NHS meet unexpected costs from major events, alongside government cover for floods and droughts caused by the climate crisis.

According to The Guardian, Lloyd’s CEO John Neal first raised the possibility when he met Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt last month.
