Atrium Syndicate 609 could leave the 2021 year of account (YoA) open to leave room for further aviation uncertainty, according to a Hampden note obtained by this publication.

In the note, Syndicate 609 said it may need to keep the 2021 YoA open “depending on developments over the next 12 months” and that it was still reserving significant amounts for Covid-19-related claims on the 2021 YoA.
