Allianz has said it will not renew its participation in insuring the Nord Stream 1 pipeline when the policy it is involved in expires in late 2023.

The carrier said Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) is part of a consortium providing technical engineering insurance for the operations of the pipeline.
