Liberty Syndicate 4472 posted a combined ratio of 99.3% in 2022, up almost 10 points from the prior year, as net claims from Hurricane Ian and the war in Ukraine cost close to £250mn ($313mn).

Liberty reported net claims of £147.1mn for Hurricane Ian and £102mn for the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
