One medium loss could ‘obliterate’ upstream energy’s ‘faltering’ premium: WTW

The “faltering” premium income in the upstream energy space means that even a medium sized loss could “obliterate” global premium income, according to WTW.

In its energy market review, WTW said the sanctions relating to Russia-Ukraine, as well as increased use of self-insured retentions, had led to upstream premium falling to around $1.5bn
