MAP Syndicate 2791’s Trubshaw heralds market’s ‘radical’ alteration

Trading conditions in the property reinsurance market have “radically altered” to a state not seen since the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew in 1992, according to Richard Trubshaw, active underwriter at Managing Agency Partners (MAP) Syndicate 2791.

The executive made his comments in his annual foreword to the syndicate’s yearly accounts – the last he will write as active underwriter.
