Axa XL Syndicate 2003 has maintained its sub-100% combined ratio for 2022, which came in 22.4 points worse than the prior year at 97%, in the face of heavy cat and Russia-Ukraine losses.

The syndicate’s annual report published today revealed that the business managed to return an underwriting profit of £25.2mn ($31.1mn)
