AJ Gallagher has named global CEO of Gallagher Re James Kent to a new group role in which he will lead the broker’s strategic relationships with its most important (re)insurance partners, with Tom Wakefield set to succeed him in his current role.

As CEO of global insurance strategic relationships, Kent will be charged with establishing a framework that sets out how Gallagher as a group will connect with its major strategic partners.
