Some of the world’s largest insurers have seen their share prices tumble – by more than 5% in some cases – as investors react to the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB).

US regulators shut down SVB on Friday, and authorities put its UK subsidiary into insolvency Sunday night. The UK subsidiary has now been sold to HSBC.
