PRA to propose new accountability metrics for economic growth duty

The UK Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) will share ideas for quantitative metrics that Parliament could use to hold the regulator accountable for achieving a new growth and competitiveness objective.

Vicky Saporta, the PRA’s executive director for prudential policy, said the ideas will be shared at a conference the regulator will host on 19 September, as the authority implements its new objective and enables Parliament to measure its implementation.
