QBE Syndicate 386 reports 9.5% capacity loss to Names in 2020

QBE Syndicate 386 has reported a loss to Names of 9.5% of capacity for the 2020 year of account, reflecting a 4.2-point deterioration from the prior mid-range forecast.

The figures represented a deterioration from the previous forecast of a loss of between 1.6% and 6.6%.

Members’ agent Hampden said the result reflected further negative investment contribution in the quarter, as well as adverse prior-year development.
