Carlyle Aviation Management and two of its subsidiaries, SASOF V (A1) Aviation Ireland DAC and UMB Bank NA, have launched a second UK High Court case to recoup losses related to aircraft and other equipment stranded in Russia from reinsurers.

The aircraft lessor has sued Convex Insurance as a representative for the reinsurers on its all-risk policy, as well as Liberty Corporate Capital Limited and other reinsurers on its contingent hull war and allied risks policy.
