Fidelis MGU has hired a trio of executives including a new head of marine cargo and bespoke, as insurance CEO Richard Coulson said the firm’s new structure was “proving a real magnet for talent” because it has more room to offer underwriters equity.

The hires include Daniel O’Connell, former head of crisis management for the UK and Lloyd’s at Axa XL, in the role of head of bespoke.
