Zurich ‘tactically’ increased participation on Farmers quota share: Greco

Zurich executives have said that the insurer will benefit from changes to Farmers’ quota share since it last participated on the transaction, after disclosing this morning that it had taken a 6.75% share on the treaty.

In a call discussing the carrier’s full-year results, CEO Mario Greco noted that Farmers had “tactically” increased its participation in Farmers’ quota share treaty” to help support the mutual insurer.
