Capacity stands at near-record levels for the structured credit and political risk market (SCPR) with new entrants and several insurers increasing their line sizes, according to a report from Gallagher.

Despite key risks such as China’s “zero Covid” policy, the Russia-Ukraine conflict and a difficult month of reinsurance renewals, Gallagher believes the SCPR market remains resilient.
