Axis Q4 combined ratio edges up to 94.1% as specialty pivot continues

Axis Capital has reported a one-point deterioration in its combined ratio to 94.1% and top-line growth of 12.5% to $1.8bn for Q4 2022, as the company continues its transition into a specialty carrier.

Operating EPS for the period decreased by 8.5% year on year to $1.95, which still beat the analyst consensus of $1.76
