Businesses are increasingly opting not to take up cyber insurance amid rising costs, despite the growing threat from cyberattack, according to the British Insurance Brokers’ Association (Biba).

Biba said that 40% of respondents to a survey said that clients were no longer taking up cyber cover due to rising costs, as an ever-digitised business environment leads to heightened cyber risks.
