Everest Insurance has appointed Timothy Powell as head of financial lines, replacing Christian Colombera, who is to become managing director of Australia and head of the Pacific region.

Powell, who will be based in London, has 30 years’ experience and was most recently global head of financial lines and cyber at Zurich.
