Chaucer is to begin writing insurance for the risk of carbon credit project failure, in partnership with start-up carbon insurance specialist Kita.

Chaucer will invest in Kita and offer lead underwriting capacity for the business, with Munich Re Syndicate and RenaissanceRe providing follow capacity.
