Luxury retailer Liberty has taken legal action against Liberty Mutual and Swiss Re over Covid-19 BI payments, arguing it is entitled to separate payouts for different premises and lockdowns.

The legal action is the latest in a string of cases launched in the wake of Covid-19, as businesses look to make recoveries from insurance policies for lost business during the pandemic.
